Anshika Vats

President 2024-25

MAC has been more than just a society — it has been my comfort space, my learning ground, and truly, my second home. From stepping in as a first-year student with wide-eyed dreams to stepping out as the President, this journey has been nothing short of transformative.

Late night brainstorming meets, chaotic flashmob practices, jamming sessions during creative work, running after teachers for permission, playing games during every event, picnic or party- I'll cherish all these sweet little moments forever. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most passionate, creative, and kind-hearted people — from seniors who guided me, to batchmates who stood by me, and juniors who reminded me why it’s all worth it.

I leave with a heart full of gratitude and memories I’ll carry for life. MAC has taught me leadership, friendship, resilience, and above all — love. I hope this family continues to grow, thrive, and remain a place people are proud to call their own.

Aayan Ahmed Siddiqui

Vice President 2024-25

“One of the best times I had in Venky was at MAC. From being a member back in 2022 to becoming the Vice President in 2024, the journey has been absolutely amazing and enriching. I met the best people in this society,  the best seniors, batchmates and the juniors that made this experience even better. I can simply say that my college life would have been empty without MAC. From being the event head of Treasure Hunt in the very first 2 months, to handling the sponsorship department and to leading the society as VP, MAC has given me an experience I could never forget. It is not just a society, but a family that takes in everyone and makes them feel like home.
For me, I will always cherish the memories at MAC.
Go MAC!!

Vice President 2024-25

MAC wasn’t just a part of my college life; it was my college life. From day one, I loved how your voice truly mattered here. Whether it was pitching an idea, giving feedback, or quoting a random marketing theory mid-discussion to feel academically relevant, you were heard.

What made MAC feel like home wasn’t just the work; it was the people. The late-night meetings, the chaotic group chats, the unfiltered conversations, and the energy before every big day made it all so us. And in the middle of all the madness, we created work we were genuinely proud of: events, ideas, and initiatives that made a mark. There’s something truly comforting about being around MAC people. You’re just allowed to be… weird, driven, tired, loud, and completely yourself.

If you’re thinking of joining, do it. For the skills, for the madness, and most of all, for the people. MAC has room for every version of you, and you’ll love what you become.

Shubhangi Arora

General Secretary 2024-25

“I still remember the day I interviewed for MAC. I was so unprepared. All I had was passion for the society. I never imagined that three years later, I would be writing this as the General Secretary.
MAC has been such a huge part of my college journey. It is not just a society, it is a space where I grew as a person. From someone who didn’t even know how to speak confidently in front of people, to someone who could lead a team and handle pressure, all of that happened because of MAC. I didn’t just learn from my seniors, I learned just as much from my juniors and peers.
The feeling you get after pulling off an event, after all the sleepless nights, is something else. But more than the events, it’s the people who make MAC special. You make a family while preparing for events, and those memories are what stay with you.
I wasn’t from a commerce background. Mac truly is one of the most inclusive and warm society I have been a part of.
I am genuinely so grateful to MAC for everything. The opportunities, the learning, and the love.

Ankit

Joint Secretary 2024-25

“MAC was not just an extracurricular (although I did think of it that way)—this was where I found direction, purpose, and people who challenged me to be better every day.
When I first walked through the department room door, I had no idea how much this society would help shape me. From living true responsibilities to exercising my creative thinking skills under pressure, my growth with MAC was beyond anything a lecture hall could ever provide.
But, most importantly, I'm grateful for the people. The energy, the chaos, the shared ambitions, and the support we provided each other made the heavy workload feel lighter and the late nights worthwhile. It wasn't always easy, but it has always been meaningful.
Every conversation, campaign, and obstacle equipped me with something to take away. And I will always be appreciative of that.
So, to all of you who have supported me during this journey—thank you for trusting, supporting, and believing in me.
If you're thinking about MAC or wondering whether to join, just do it. You will get more than experience; you will learn what you're really capable of and do it alongside people who actually want you to succeed.

“Mac will always hold a special place in my heart. When I first joined the Marketing Society, I had no idea it would become the best part of my entire college life. We shared countless moments of joy,  bunked classes for society meetings and created memories filled with fun, adventures, and nostalgia. The seniors were incredibly gracious and helpful, guiding us with elegance, while the juniors brought a fresh, beautiful, and cute energy to the group. Every event, from the vibrant freshers to the heartfelt farewell, was a testament to the society’s graceful and elegant spirit. Being part of this family has been nothing short of magical, and I will cherish these moments forever.

The best thing that happened to me at Venky was joining MAC.
MAC was not just a society for me; it was a family. MAC was more than a society; it was a family. The love and respect I received surpassed my expectations. MAC taught me valuable lessons, helping me grow significantly. I gained confidence, improved my public speaking, eliminated self-doubt, learned to deal with diverse mindsets, and learned how to stay calm while dealing with difficult situations.
Being part of MAC filled me with pride. Even though I'm not pursuing marketing, the skills I learned are essential in daily life and various professions. MAC equipped me with invaluable skills for job interviews and real-life challenges.
The lessons, memories, and friends I found in MAC were the highlights of my college experience.

The friendships I've made and the lessons I learned will stay with me for a lifetime.
MAC will give you nothing but another family where you can grow together, have fun, and learn new things.  Participating in events & live projects will help you make connections and not to mention boost your skills and confidence. “The SVC Marketing Club wasn't just a society – it was my college family for 3 incredible years. As the Vice President, I witnessed its vibrant energy firsthand. Brainstorming with enthusiastic members and industry-expert seniors was a whirlwind of ideas, each nurtured to life. Their guidance transformed my raw enthusiasm into actionable skills. But it wasn't all work! Late nights fueled by Google Meet huddles and post-event celebrations forged lasting bonds. We learned the power of teamwork, embracing calculated risks and celebrating each other's triumphs. Beyond the club, guest lectures opened doors to the dynamic marketing world. The Marketing Club shaped me – it taught me, challenged me and connected me. I would say join the club and you won't regret it!

President 2022-23

“A large part of my college life was represented by MAC. I'm very fortunate that I got to experience this society inside out for 3 years and each year brought with it a new experience. This soc has infinite teachings for you, if you're willing to learn! Trust me when I say this, there could be multiple reasons why you'd join this soc but ultimately the reason you'll stay will be the people, your fellow MAC-ites. Ask any ex-member and they'll tell you that they left behind a piece of themselves in the soc when they graduated, I hope you find those pieces and the warmth they hold! And ofcourse, it fills up your resume nicely :)

“Joining MAC was one of the best decisions i took in my first of college, when normally people tend to rush into wrong decisions. I got lucky with this society because it gave me 3 amazing years of friendship, leadership, fun, games, learning, virtual interactions, quirky interviews, engaging meet ups, wonderful fests and a team worth working hard for. I still miss being a part of it but the soc will always have a sweet place in my heart forever.

Swasti Mishra

Vice President 2021-22

“Being a part of MAC was one of the most defining experiences of my college life. In my third and final year, I had the privilege of serving as Vice President, a role that not only challenged me but also helped me grow in ways I hadn’t anticipated. The three years with MAC passed by like a whirlwind—just like our cello tape running out too quickly! But the lessons, memories, and friendships I gained during that time will forever remain etched in my heart.
My journey from a regular member to Vice President in my final year was transformative. Each year brought new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Whether it was negotiating with sponsors, planning events, or just navigating the everyday hustle, MAC was a training ground like no other. The people I worked with, the seniors who mentored me, and the team I led were instrumental in shaping not just my college experience, but also my future in the Corporate world.
To anyone considering joining MAC, I would say this: do it. The experiences you will gain, the friendships you will forge, and the skills you will develop are unparalleled. MAC is not just a club—it’s a family, and it will leave a lasting impact on your college life and beyond.

“At a time when everyone was getting into a plethora of societies when college begun, I got into MAC and I didn't even once feel that something is missing in college for me. Ever since I stepped in the club, there wasn't a dull day. From being an active participant initially to planning all the events and activities in my final year, MAC gave me countless opportunities to grow both as a professional and an individual. It gave me innumerable memories and I wouldn't have it any other way. From offline workshops and parties to all the virtual marketing competitions and brainstorming we had it all.

Even though I am not pursuing marketing as a professional domain pos-college, I believe the comprehensive experience I got through MAC has a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today.”

Arpanpreet Kaur

Vice President 2020-21

If I were to reminisce on my journey at Venky, I know I'd be damned if MAC didn't make me all nostalgic and teary. I remember running around the streets of Satya at 6 am, waking up my friends only to ask them for an extra cello tape that we needed for the decor of Zeal- our annual event. Another year, another day, Lajpat Nagar looked like it had been infiltrated by crime bandits, with people running around in shops to find the "hidden treasure", courtesy of our other event called Markopolis. Needing 10 whole days to get one permission letter for a registration desk sanctioned, faking courtesy to vulture-like sponsors, entertaining our friends with free flash-mob dance performances like that of toddlers on school annual day, to having the best jamming sessions in audi lobby during creative work: being at MAC was a package deal!! And what would I not do to bring back the moments when we posed like wacky weirdos wearing MAC T-shirts at our rather loud after-parties!!

With friends turning family, being at MAC felt like being right at home.

To be honest, I know I won more than just some 'experience' at a college society like MAC.”
